Third Session of the Fifth Sri Lanka Youth Parliament
The Third Session of the Fifth Sri Lanka Youth Parliament took place over two consecutive days, on the 17th and 18th of June 2023 within the Main Auditorium of the Presidential Secretariat. The main topic of the debate of the Youth Parliament was the Proposed Youth Parliament Act. Representing all districts 132 participants were gathered on this occasion. The Inaugural Ceremony was held on 17.06.2023 and. Mr. K.Mahesan, the Secretary to the Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs and Mr. Pasindu Gunarathna, the Chairman/ Director General of the National Youth Services Council participated as the guests of the event. The Closing Ceremony was held on 18.06.2023 under the patronage of Mr.Saman Ekenayake, the Secretary to the President and Mr. Pasindu Gunarathna, the Chairman/Ditector General of the National Youth Services Council.
