Youth Parliament Sri Lanka.

“We are a state of South Asia that highly protects the democracy. In the journey of democracy, the National Youth Services Council has established the Sri Lanka Youth Parliament, to train Youth to lead the entire Sri Lankan Youth community while getting experiences.”
The Chairman/Director General of the National Youth Services Council, Mr.Damitha Wickramasinghe stated at the Inaugural session of the Fifth Youth Parliament Sri Lanka.
The Inaugural session of the Fifth Youth Parliament was held on the 18th of January 2022 at the National Youth Services Council premises with the participation of the Chief Guest, Hon. Mohammed Nasheed, the former President and the 19th Speaker of the Republic of the Maldives, His Excellency. Omar Abdul Razaak, the Ambassador of Maldives to Sri Lanka, Hon. Namal Rajapaksa, the Minister of Youth & Sports, Hon. Nalaka Godehewa, the State Minister of Urban Development, Coast Conservation, Waste Disposal, and Community Cleanliness, Hon. Tharaka Balasooriya, the State Minister of Regional Cooperation, Hon. Thenuka Vidanagamage, the State Minister of Rural and School Sports Infrastructure Promotion, Mr.Anuradha Wijekoon, the Secretary of the Ministry of Youth & Sports, Mr. Lalith Piyum Perera, the Chairman of the National Lotteries Board and with other distinguished guests.
